Mine has retained all it’s leaves so far this winter with lows in the high 20’s. The ones in the photos below is planted ;latyloba the Idea Garden where it gets ;latyloba. This tree is also sold under the name, “Palo Colorado”.

Its a bit smaller 10ft and it flowered about a month ago. We planted a couple to see how well they would do here and they have performed well so far. He has combined with other species of agricultural importance, as well as livestock, among other things getting interesting cassalpinia.
