Attaining such perfection means personally building up that perfection in himself. But in order to accomplish this he must be able to distinguish good from evil. The commandments are linked to a promise.
Christ’s relevance for people of all times is shown forth in his body, which is the Church. It is a question of the decision of faith, of the obedience of faith cf.
People today need to turn to Christ once again in order to receive from him the answer to their questions about what is good and what is evil.
